Music

The Kingman Concert Band is a tax-exempt Arizona non-profit organization, governed by an eight member Board of Directors. The Band relies on donations from the community in order to purchase music, provide rehearsal space and maintain the organization’s website. Kingman’s first Little Free Library was installed in July of 2017 by 11 year old Harley Thurber, who discovered LFL’s throughout Corona Hills and wanted to share books with his neighbors. The Kingman Library hosts concerts and performances by the band.

Computers

The Library offers public computers with Internet access. Customers may reserve a computer for one 60-minute session per day. Reservations are available in person on the 1st floor of the Library.

The Library uses filtering technology on its public computers and WiFi network to block sexually explicit or obscene content. However, filtering software is not perfect and the Library cannot control the information users choose to access. The Library encourages parents and guardians to monitor their children’s use of the Internet.

Meeting rooms

As part of the Library’s mission to connect people with information, ideas and experiences, CCPL makes its meeting rooms available for cultural, civic and intellectual engagement. To reserve a room, read and agree to our policy and rules, then select your branch and date.

Groups using Community Rooms must provide their own chairs and tables. Aisles must be kept clear to allow access to exit doors. Groups whose members or invitees damage the meeting space, carpet, or equipment may lose their privilege to use the room.
